The age twenty five,
Has got me feelin' alive.
Alive to dive and know I’ll survive.
A solo trip,
I abandoned ship.
To the great outdoors,
With those who soar,
And walk on all fours.
As the Ocean Gypsea explored,
With no power cord,
I unveiled the beauty, in the unexplored...
Life and land
I saw past my tear gland.
With life unplanned,
I took myself by the hand
And began to understand….
I tend to climb,
While most likely singing and trying to rhyme.
I start shifting gears,
Without the influence of peers,
Climbing higher and higher
I start creating a fire,
To heat my desires,
And find what inspires,
The sea and the trees with some tea, is the key!
Being alone, in other words all-one.
Fills me with energy for a continuous run.
Run with the wolves, howl at the moon,
Feeding the soul with my creativity spoon.
The wilderness released fears,
With things besides tears
As everything becomes clear, when remove your frontier.
When there's no longer a border, a wall or a block
Put yourself in nature, and go for a walk.
Leave your internal clock
Climb a rock,
With no socks
And you shall unlock….
Well thats for you to find out,
So get 'out and about'
As us Canadians say.
Get out and go play.
But know your not doing it to run away.
As time with yourself,
You expose your higher self,
Always gaining pride, pride with oneself.
Discovering the unexplored,
You find moments to record...
In our mind and our hearts.
See, they create the art.
Oh, how they are a powerful thing.
As these moments were created to fit like a ring.
Connecting the heart, and the heart to its strings.
So this is why, my 25th year,
I decided to begin a journey with fear.
To open a little wider, my eyes and my ears
Reflecting inside, so what shines out becomes clear.
